Boxies ~ Part 7

Puppy ~ for Praxton

Puppy ~ back
Two of two for the best little brother in the world.

This one's even tinier.

At around 1 inch tall, it's near impossible to find in all those sheets.

He loves them.

One of two for the best little brother in the world.

He even sleeps with them sometimes.

Boxies ~ Part 5

Dragon
Dragon ~ back
This Boxie comes out of Sage's complete love of all things dragon.

She even has them hanging from her ceiling in her room.

She can call them by their species name and give details as to their body shape, size, and scales.

I look at this creation and just love the details. The wing shape is wonderful. The head and tail spike in "fire-like" colors, wow! Even its little belly...so great!

I've asked for one of these for myself.

I happen to have an effinity for dragons too.

Boxies ~ Part 4

Black Star hen - Astrid

Black Star hen - back

Chick

Chick - back
This sweet Boxie was made in honor of our chickens which we had to leave behind in Arizona.

We had 5 total, but the Black Stars were the favorite.

Astrid and Onyx.

We hope the Arizona summer has been kind.

We miss them.

She loves it so much it's already missing an eye.

Boxies ~ Part 2

Cutthroat Trout fishhead ~ for Dad
Cutthroat Trout fishhead ~ Back
This "Boxie" was made for Father's Day. Even though it doesn't fit the "Boxie" shape it's completely fantastic!

Our Daddy loves to fish, so what better to give than a fishhead?

The details like the fishhook, the red "cut-throat", and sequins for scales is why I just love this piece.

Sage actually found a picture of the trout online and copied its design.

Brilliant!

When Daddy pulled it out of its wrapping paper, he immediately broke into song.

"Fishheads, fishheads icky, dirty fishheads..."

What???

YouTube to the rescue.

Boxies ~ Part 1

I would like to introduce Sage's newest creations, Boxies.
 She even created the name!

She made these cuties over the summer.
All from her own inspiration!

This one happens to be mine and is the perfect way
to start the next couple of posts.

I just love the way these Boxies look.
With the big stitches and the child-like face.

She has even been commissioned by Ronana
to make some Boxies for Halloween.

We are looking forward to seeing her Boxie
version of a skeleton, pumpkin, bat, witch, etc...

I just love it when I see this kind of creativity in my children.

It's another wonderful way to spend time with them.

Sage hopes you enjoy the next couple of posts.

Each Boxie is completely original.

"Cuteness" - doesn't even begin to describe it!

TA-DA!!!

This is my first completely original pattern!

Isn't his name just perfect?

Praxton named him for me because:
"Mom, there just isn't a more perfecter name for him. He's just so cute!"

Needless to say, he belongs to Praxton now.

I was inspired by these darling little stickers I purchased for Praxton's school folder. They had the cutest faces and I thought I'd try to piece them together from all sorts of different shapes. I just love the turquoise and orange too!

I'd like to type up the pattern and add it to the blog as a free pattern, so look for it sometime soon.

Hopefully, lightning will strike twice because that whole sheet of stickers has some pretty cute animals on it.

KA-BOOM!!!
