Techno Inspiration - "Technorati"

We recently purchased a new laptop computer.
Our Old Faithful finally up and died on us. We had her since 2003. That's old in computer years!

Anyway, when we started up the newbie we found loads of wonderful updated things. It was faster, smarter, cleaner, more efficient and super trendy. We wondered why we had waited so long...
When we set up the kid's user desktop we found a wonderful variety of wallpapers. The kids had a hard time choosing the first one, but it was really a no-brainer.

Above is a screen shot of the one that was chosen. You can probably see why. Kawaii-face!!! They all squealed in cuteness and immediately requested that I make them one. There are many more to pull from on this wall paper alone. The little dog-thingy below the worm, yep, next on the list. And even the purple blob with the sticks on his head is inspiration on the Amigurumi front. Makes me smile just thinking about creating it...  =)

So now "Technorati" is complete. He is the simplest construction imaginable. I tried to match the colors exactly, but in the picture the second color came out a bit too yellow and the third color a bit too green. They are in fact a sage green and turquoise.

Yippee! Free Pattern Time!
Enjoy!
